Beyond King Tut

Commemorating the historic discovery of King Tut’s tomb 100 years ago, the exhibition combines the power of cinematic storytelling and soaring imagery to bring the National Geographic archives to life. With nine galleries to explore, visitors wind through the story of a young boy to discover how he changed the ancient – and modern – world.

Jurassic World: The Exhibition

Through Apr. 16

A family-friendly immersive 20,000-square-foot experience. Visitors walk through the world-famous “Jurassic World” gates, explore richly themed environments and encounter life-sized Velociraptors, a Brachiosaurus, and the most fearsome dinosaur of all, the mighty Tyrannosaurus rex. Guests will be able to imagine what it would have been like to roam among these breathtaking creatures and even interact with new baby dinosaurs.

Pairings With a Purpose Dinner Party

City Hike-Piedras Pintadas/Bernardo Bay Trails

Cross the Kreitzer Bridge and skirt the edges of Lake Hodges on this beautiful 8-mile hike that takes you on the Piedras Pintadas and Bernardo Bay Trails. You’ll only gain 440’ of elevation but this hike is rated moderate to strenuous.

Diamond Gala

The Diamond Gala is the Boys & Girls Club of Vista’s signature event. We will be celebrating our 60th anniversary in classic style with live & silent auctions, wine wall, brand new beer wall featuring local breweries, casino games, & live entertainment.

TrueCare Havana Nights Grand Gala

Mix and mingle on the promenade with a Caribbean cocktail, enjoy a delicious Cuban-style dinner, participate in the lively auction, and then hit the dance floor to enjoy the mambo and salsa rhythms! Take part in the live and silent auctions knowing that all funds raised will support TrueCare’s enhanced programs and services for our aging population at the new TrueCare Older Adult Health Center and across TrueCare locations.

Chili Cook Off

Make the best red or green chili in town and help raise funds for the Fallbrook Food Pantry. Up to 2 entries per person, $25/each entry. Chili will be judged: People’s Choice & by Local Chefs. Guest tickets are $35 per person All sponsorships are $250.

TinyFest

Swing Into HOPE Golf Tournament

ShamROCK St Patricks Day Block Party

ShamROCK transforms downtown into a Celtic carnival for the senses with an abundance of pub-style seating, flowing green beer, traditional Irish steppers, Celtic rock bands, photo-ops, shenanigan games (with prizes), and activations throughout the Gaslamp. Free games throughout the day at the Shenanigans Block with Giant lucky Jenga, Pot of Gold Cornhole, and Giant beer pong.

The Julian Daffodil Show

Head over to Julian for the annual Daffodil Show, where you can marvel at beautiful daffodils on display and have any questions about them answered by National Daffodil Society experts. The show will also feature Children’s Art – Water Colors of Daffodils. The event takes place from 12-5pm at Julian Town Hall.

Boarded! Pirate Adventure

Ready for an adventure on the high seas? Board the galleon replica San Salvador at the Maritime Museum of San Diego for an interactive pirate show. Participants will be trained in pirate skills like sword fighting and navigating the ship. The adventure takes place from 10:30am-2:25pm.

Amigos de Vista Lion’s Club 42nd Annual Pancake Breakfast

Enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast while supporting youth basketball and baseball groups in Vista. The event takes place from 7-11am at the Brengle Senior Center. Breakfast is $8 for a single serving.

Bark in the Park

Mar. 18 Bring your furry friends to Live Oak Park in Fallbrook for a day of fun to raise funds for Live Oak Dog Park. There will be dog walks, contests, pet-related booths, kids crafts, food vendors, and more. The event takes place from 9am-2pm.

Star Walk XXII

Mar. 19

Join the San Marcos community at Double Peak Park for an evening of beginner astronomy concepts. Learn about specific stars, constellations, and simple astronomy facts and principles. You’ll also have the opportunity to see Venus, Mars, and Jupiter. The event takes place from 7:30-9pm.

“Spring Fling” Business Expo

Meet local businesses and win door prizes at this fun-filled expo hosted by the La Mesa Chamber of Commerce. The event takes place from 5-7:30pm at the Courtyard by Marriott in El Cajon.

Oceans at Night

Mar. 23

Experience the ocean after dark at this 21+ event featuring art, science, and technology. The monthly series highlights ocean phenomena like bioluminescence and biofluorescence and includes live music, a glow lounge, and glowing nighttime dives. The event takes place from 6:30-9:30pm at the Birch Aquarium at Scripps in La Jolla.

San Diego Half Marathon & 5K

Join us for the San Diego Half Marathon and 5K, a thrilling race that takes you through five miles of waterfront, four historic communities, three beautiful parks, two miles of downtown San Diego, and an epic Gaslamp finish! Art Alive 2023

Goodguys Meguiar’s Del Mar Nationals
