While home security and insurance are important, protecting your home’s title is equally crucial. Luckily, there’s a free way to monitor for suspicious activity on your property’s title: The San Diego County’s Owner Alert program.
Here’s how it works:
- The county electronically monitors your property’s title.
- You’ll receive an alert if there are any changes to the title, such as a sale or lien placed on the property, that you haven’t authorized.
